Sweet, rich, not too heavy, and just a little boozy on the finish

Creamy and sweet. Velvety texture. Loads of chocolate then some bitter roasted coffee. Little burn from the Bourbon on the aftertaste

Interesting brown ale. It has all the stout flavors you are looking for, but a brown ale finish. Its ok, im not big on brown ales, but this one is ok. And this is a 'missile' you have no idea its 11% abv.

Penultimate beer of the holidays 😏 It's a doozy aswell. Imperial brown ale aged in bourbon barrels 🤤 Full of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar 👌

Super pleasant ale, lots of coffee. Notes of nut and vanilla, wafer. Touch of cocoa on aftertaste.

A little on the thin side but all the flavors are there. Especially the coffee.

It’s from Founders, anything they put out doesn’t suck ! Chocolate dominates so an amazing desert beer.

Not quite velvety, the booze burns a little. The choc and coffee flavours are heavy, so the bourbon is a little lost/hidden. Does it tie the room together? Maybe. Beer hawk advent calendar, one of the best so far.

Chose a delicious offering from Founders as 2022’s first ‘official’ checked in beer. 😉

The barrel aged flavor isn’t overwhelming, and it does have good flavor. Just not my favorite style

Thanks, Grant! Pairs will with chocolate chip cheese ball and graham crackers.

Like a warm weighted barrel aged blanket on this cold mn night

High in ABV but not boozy tasting. Powerful coffee and chocolate with a nice rich brown ale underneath. Huge barrel aging notes. Slightly charred oak and sweet. A very nice thick barrel aged dessert beer.
