Diggin' in dah vaults for this potent brew. Figured that 2.5 years of aging would smooth this one out a bit but I guess not. About to peep Heat @ Raps. And Hoppy Friday (also one week until Xmas) from Spock & Mr. Rogers 🖖🏻🚞

Haven't had in 2 years. But I get to try it on draft so there's that. Boozy as hell still and thick for an IPA. The Bourbon is evident right off the bat. Cannot drink a lot of these because it hides the 12% really well.

Очень интересно, запах как у имперца, вообще не ясно что пьёшь... но вкусно.

Одно из самых необычных и интересных пив, что мне удалось попробовать. IPA и бурбон. Фантастика

Barrel aged opening with an orange marmalade finish. Would of liked to try it fresh. 2018 bottle.

Bourbontoner, lite karamellton, en strävhet från ekfatet, lite bitter

A generous beer, boozy and warm to drink quietly at home, not a pils that you can drink liters with a barbecue during the summer. Ineresting notes of malt, toffee, vanilla, smooth at the palate, regular hop at the final.

Caramel, a little resiny and raisins. Bourbon sweetness in the back. Fairly warming, barleywine-like. Nice wintry ale.

Poured out half, didn't want a full 12%. I'm over this style. It went well with spiced chicken.

Imperial red IPA aged in bourbon barrels you sat on for 2 years, eh? Not a good idea. Hops have more of a dank, floral soap cast and sugary malts on nose are destroyed on the palate. This one was better fresh. Lesson Learned!

Heavy bourbon aroma, dark and hazy in the glass!! Superb flavor and seriously DANK!!

Cellared for a couple of years, still heavy on the barrel (to be expected). Would love to these again (are you listening Founders?)
