Had this in my beer fridge longer than I’d care to admit. Had it last night and I was very pleasantly surprised. Worth the wait. Probably even better if I had it within a year of purchase! Brewed on date is 4/16/18. Shameful.

Um Porrada…licorosa, álcool bem presente, no aroma barril, malte, caramelo, na boca amargor persistente, adocicado caramelo, barril, uma cerveja que demonstra toda sua potência, onde os fracos não tem vez!

Opaque orange/brown beer with a slight off-white head. Medium aroma; taste starts medium/heavy sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Wood, vanilla, caramel, orange and hops. 7/5/8/4

Karamellinen, maltainen, tasapainoinen. Jälkimaussa lempeä bourbonin puraisu. Nice!

Cleaning out the fridge and honestly could have left this five year old on n a bit longer. Aged very mellow with no more barrel.

I like the mix of flavors I get. I can taste the IPA as well as the bourbon barrel. AWESOME

Boooooozy finish however, this guy aged well, but lost a little of the red and sweet.

Holy Guacamoly dat is wirklich dank! Verrücktes Zusammenspiel aus weichem, karamelligen Bourbonfass und sehr hopfigem, fast bitterem Red IPA. Und dann noch fucking 12,2%, abgefahrenes Zeug!

Cellared for a couple of years, still heavy on the barrel (to be expected). Would love to these again (are you listening Founders?)
