Upfront smell is crappy hazelnut coffee. But taste is extremely roasty. Not viscous. Lots of hazelnut coffee flavor.

Soft spot for Founders. Good hazelnut stout but the kbs is a distant memory. 4.15

I aged this one for over a year, seems to have lost the coffee flavor from the aging, but the hazel nut flavors are still there.

Bold coffee more so than true hazelnut, but great texture and flavour.

Smells amazing. Smells better than it tastes. the hazelnut is there but almost overly sweet.

Barrel aged hazelnut somehow makes me think of breakfast; they could've called this "boozy pancakes."
