Hazelnut is subtle but the coffee and chocolate come through nicely. Rich mouthfeel. Not getting the12% at all.

I’ve always been a huge KBS fan. I’m not sure what happened with this variant but the boozy/barrel taste is weaker than before. Also the hazelnut flavor over powers everything else. I must say I’m not a hazelnut fan.

Pretty tasty but heavy hazelnut that combined with the coffee and chocolate really hides barrel notes. ABV well hidden though.

A little more bitter up front compared to other KBS's I've had, but still really nice. Lot of hazelnut on the back end. Smoothing out more as it warms up

The explanation is correct with huge hazelnut balancing coffee and chocolate but as is my complaint with all kbs the barrel is almost nonexistent. A little bourbon and heat and this would be amazing.

Nutty hazelnut on the nose and flavor. Kinda overpowers all the other flavors of KBS. As it warms, flavors get much more balanced. Though the hazelnut flavor dies out and it becomes normal KBS at the end of the drink. Drink this boi warmer.

It’s fine. On par with espresso. Give me Mackinac again or do a vanilla or double barrel version or something.
