KBS Hazelnut (2022)

Stout - Imperial / Double

The perfectly balanced and decadent drinking experience of KBS meets the classic taste of hazelnut. Taking this bourbon barrel-aged stout to a new level, KBS Hazelnut allows the existing premium coffee and chocolate notes to soar to new heights when accented by the nutty sweetness of hazelnut.

KBS plus hazelnut that's fading. Tasty. Balanced.

Started out with a punch of chocolate and hazelnut. Each sip then gives way towards the bourbon and alcoholic heat

Very rich and strong. I thought it had a coffee flavor but I guess it’s just a hazelnut. Pretty good.

Too much coffee, not enough hazelnut, but the beer is solid.

Much more subtle than old school Rogue Hazel nut Nectar. An enjoyable KB Stout with hazelnut. Be careful as this is a beer you will want to drink quickly- it goes down easy.

Definitive coffee and toasty dryness in this, but I didn't get much at all in the way of sweet chocolate nor hazelnut. Didn't even get much of a BBA undertone. Tasted like a porter tbh...and a basic one at that

Good stout, but compromised by the hazelnut. Enjoyable, but I usually like my stouts straight up. A lingering bitterness demotes this brew a bit.

Spot on with the hazelnut, and this would have gotten a 4.0 from me had it not been so bitter AF! Needs a little lactose to tone down that bitter roasty coffee flavor. Otherwise it's pretty tasty.

First opened I got a strong smell of hazelnut, along with the taste of it followed by a chocolate aftertaste. Almost no head, might have been an old bottle as the flavors seemed mellow compared to the taste. Smell slightly faded n taste shifted to barrel.
