The beer is extra nutty this time and the featured ingredient shines in the spotlight. It is accompanied by the familiar heavy barrel and dark bourbon that Founder’s loves to bring with these releases. The result is a clean addition to the series.

4.4pts Imperial stout with super balanced coffee nose and not overly sweet nutty, hazelnut finish. Smooth 12%abv. FBC killed this release.

The barrel notes are subdued but the rich hazelnut, coffee and chocolate flavors rise to the occasion.

Tastes like a regular KBS. Only getting a bit of hazelnut. Pepper is there though. Lol

basically a nutella stout. not bad, for sure, but definitely an adjunct-forward dessert beer.

Excellent dessert! Big Hazelnut chocolate espresso nose. On the taste buds more rich roasty espresso dark chocolate smoothness with Hazelnut undertones. So good!
