Helder erg donker robijnrood bier met iets fijn schuim. G donkere mout, chocolade, hazelnoot. S wat zoetig, maar daarbij een moutbitter met chocolade, hazelnoot. Vanille, licht houtig. Complex. Wordt beetje bitterdroog. Iets hoppig. Alcohol.

More bitter than expected. Mackinac Island Fudge remains my favorite variant. Not a bad brew. I always like trying something new.

I like hazelnut coffee, so KBS got me. Roasty, toasty, heavy duty. Most suitable in the fall, but winter, spring and summer work too. Smooth sweet vanilla, maybe mostly from the bourbon barrel. A bit boozy.
