#5 - another one from ‘the cellar’ - bottled 1/26/22 - seems a little ‘richer’ & smooth - smells like Nutella crepes - taste is nutty, chocolate and bitter coffee. Happy Repeal Day. 90th Anniversary!

Biiiig hazelnut aroma on the nose. Almost to the point of smelling like nutella. The flavour has tons of hazelnuts, but also burned malt, oats, coffee, chocolate and barreled ages characters. Really amazing stuff.

Black opaque, thick light chocolate head, big cocoa, chocolate light coffee aroma, thick body. Smooth milk chocolate covered hazelnuts with a very slight coffee finish. Hints of vanilla.

Brought up some KBS from the cellar to share with friends. Pleasant evening, delicious beers.

Bottle date 1/26/2022. Cellar beers for the rainy brew day. Full hazelnut aroma, but the hazlenut flavor has become subdued.

Founders did it again! Another fabulous batch of KBS. A little sweet but big and bold with the bourbon flavor. Hazelnut is fairly subtle but it’s clearly there. Outstanding!

I don't like hazelnut, only because it's such a dry flavor. But this beer does hazelnut well.

Coffee and hazelnut combine well with less sweetness than recent KBS offerings.

All hazelnut all the time. Yummy

Great hazelnut nose. Nut forward, creamy roasty bourbon stout.

CraftHaus bottle share. Thanks Sean J.! I'm a sucker for hazelnut coffee beers, so of course this is great.
