Been waiting to try this one. Definitely big on hazelnut. Rich, deep scent. Get the barrel-aging flavor very nicely. This one’s gonna be real good with some aging ….

Smooth, nutty, and sweet. Nice and subtle hazelnut flavor. I don’t like it as much as the original, but is a nice and tasty alternative.

Lovely mix of nuttiness and cocoa. It's full but not thick/syrupy. Don't get a ton of barrel or oakeyness, it's in the background blended with the hazelnut. Full roastiness. On the bitter side but still rich. Finishes long, nutty and bitter. Tasty!

.. does KBS make inferior beer? If they do, I’ve yet to meet one… this is a beautiful coffee hazelnut stout with bourbon flavor… wow!…the hazelnut hits your nose initially in anticipation of that first taste…fantastic… Cheers!

12%? Consistency of a FBS with hazelnut flavor. Was expecting a big sweet beer, this is not that. Thin. Flavorful. Good. Ratings spot on. Thanks lmshumate for the taste.

Great flavor love the nuts but maybe a little too much booze coming through. Love booze don’t get me wrong but it’s a little abrasive at times

Hazelnut coffee. Not much barrel...seems like a second rate base kbs elevated by hazelnuts.
