Drinkable barrel aged beer. Not syrupy and no medicine flavor from cherry. In fact the opposite cherry flavor was nuanced enough to balance and smooth out the chocolate and boozy flavors.

This is one of the best Founder Stouts since CBS left the seen. Not overly cherry, but rich and full bodied barrel aged beer. Complex but not light or watery.

I was borderline 4.5 on this but who am I to go against the crowd. Reviews were good...lots of chocolate, little cherry, very tasty. Also, a nod to Uncle Tim's BBQ sauce tasting bar!

I’m not a fan of regular KBS and enjoy a sweeter profile. This was an impulse buy and I do not regret it. The chocolate aroma is met with a little tartness of the cherry on your first sip with a slight coffee exhale.

Cordial cherry nose with and chocolate and sweetness. Taste somewhat follows with some acidity tartness. Finish has some roastiness

Superb! Not too sweet, with both cherry and chocolate prominent but not "in your face". This one's a keeper!

Light on the nose, but the chocolate notes are there. The taste is full, but the cherry that sells this brew is too subtle to really stand out. Nevertheless, this is still a great choice to enjoy. Kudos, once again, to Founders and its KBS brand.
