Surprisingly a little bitter on 1st sip. Pours pitch black. Moderate head. Tasting more sour cherry with slight chocolate. Perhaps a little too boozy.

Opaque jet-black with sturdy light-brown head & lacing. Dark chocolate-covered cherry nose & taste; add coffee flavor. There’s wonderful balance of sweet & bitter. I had low expectations for this beer. Happily, I was wrong.

Black in color; full bodied; not a string flavor to start; by thr end there are very subtle chocolate and cherry notes; cherry is more noticeable as at warms; not a strong KBS flavor; good.

Kind of like a chocolate covered cherry meets barrel aged.

Thick and heavy chocolate taste with a slight sweet cherry finish. Nice dessert beer.

Roasty, malty aroma. Rich chocolate taste. Creamy. Bitcof a dry stout finish. Not getting any cherry, bit nice chocolate and coffee flavor. Barely and BA taste, sneaky on this one. Solid.
