Another bourbon aged beer from Founders. Was surprised that this was bottled back in Dec 2022. Hence the 4.25 rating. There was no 2023 production. In bottle for 14 months and still holding it's flavor.

Boozy up front then good chocolate and light cherry.

Holy cow, so good! Even after 14 months in the bottle, there's a richness to the chocolate and a tang to the cherry flavor.. Goose Island could learn a thing or 2 about sustaining flavor.

Not really getting any cherry, light on the chocolate as well. Probably least favorite of all KBS but still not terrible

Strong cherry on the front with a nice chocolate coffee back. Solid.

Even though this was bottled on 12/05/2022, it still is fresh. A solid barrel-aged brew from Founders.

Boozy taste comes through more with cherry overtones. Nice finish.

Another great variation on KBS. The chocolate dominates with the cherry flavor in a nice supporting role.

Probably my most checked in beer at this point. One of my absolute favorites.

It was good but didn’t nail it. It’s a good stout but the chocolate cherry part was just OK.
