Belgian Twist

Belgian Tripel

A Belgian Tripel…with a twist: this beautiful beverage is brewed with a substantial amount of Blue Agave nectar; heightening and highlighting the existing fruity notes and rounding out the sweet body of this golden straw-colored Tripel.

An interesting trippel as it doesn’t taste immediately like one. This has an interesting fruity note. Maybe banana? Tastes good.

Belgian Tripel brewed with blue agave....if you are into that sort of thing.

Not the best example of the style. Just ok.

With all the emphasis on IPAs, I miss where my beer education began, Belgian ales. This is a faithful Tripel, with loads of candi sugar, brown sugar, dried fruit...yeasty and potent at.10%! Very nice and welcome on my palate.

Bit too syrupy but such are most trippels

Over carb'd. Bottle exploded when opened. Nose has candi sugar and light fruit you'd expect from a tripel. flavor is dominated by agave which overwhelms and gives it a sweet, weird flavor and a dry finish. The first 2 in series were way better.

Eh. Something might have been off with mine? Foamed over when I opened it. Didn't taste skunky though

Founder's did a really great job on this beer. Belgian is true to style, could get you in trouble as it does not drink like a 10%.

Wine Rpublic mystery 12-pack. I like the agave flavor here. Gives the typical tripel a different twist - just like the name says.

Nothing to really make it stand out from most tripels. Also, marked down a little because something seems to have gone wrong in the bottling process and every one of these I've opened has spilt over as soon as the cap came off.
