Candied mango nose. Flavor is mango and candi sugar with habanero emerging on finish. -.25 bc they recycled an old recipe for their bottle shop series. Unclear I will continue it...

Belgian Twist S.

Over carb'd. Bottle exploded when opened. Nose has candi sugar and light fruit you'd expect from a tripel. flavor is dominated by agave which overwhelms and gives it a sweet, weird flavor and a dry finish. The first 2 in series were way better.

All Day IPA S.

Campfire Amplifier S.

Getting choc and marshmallow on the nose. Getting chocolate on the milk stout, but not any of the other smores flavors. smooth tho.

Porter S.

N.r. bc 7 mos old... roasty and dry at this point. Not clear it's drinking like originally intended.

Nemesis (2021) S.

Pours darker than you expect for a BW. Nose is sweet molasses malt, with layer of old school SN Pale Ale hops. Molassesy malty flavors to start, finishes with old school hop bitterness. Chewy feel. (More like 4.1, but giving benefit of the doubt.)

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter S.

Caramel, spicy bourbon, and orange peel like an Old Fashioned. Flavor is caramel, orange and other dried fruits. Can taste the 11%.

Breakfast Stout S.

7 years later and it's still good, but I'm not nearly as enamored with it. Nose is coffee, flavor is coffee with a little chocolate with a drier finish. Was probably complex back then, but 7 years is eons for craft beer...

Let myself get TW'd into buying it thinking it was 2020... as with other 1 yr aged of this, less maple, more bourbon, still a touch of heat. Still good, but not what its supposed to be.

Interesting in that it's in transition. The maple is fading and the bourbon is emerging. Still a little heat which subdues the chocolate and coffee notes.

Holding up well. After 2 years the maple and sweetness is gone. But the coffee and chocolate is bold. The bourbon flavor comes out on the finish.

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) S.

Didnt realize I was buying a 2018 release (got TW'd) but this has held up well! Nose of bourbon and maple. Flavor is sweet malt and boozy, then the molasses, bourbon and maple are there at the end.
