Nice twist on the style. Leave it to founders to do a barrel aged Oktoberfest. A little heat great flavor. Of course i’m a sucker for barrel aged beers. Thanks SteveP!

The sweetness is more prominent after a year of aging. I hope this is rereleased.

Last one of these barrel aged Octoberfest beers from Founders. Bottles in July 2022 and has held up well. Smooth and malty with slight barrel sweetness.

Fucktoberfest 2022 backlog. 31 days of either a Märzen or festbier. Year 4 and still managed to find a couple new ones.

Final bottle of this from the beer cellar/archive. Remarkable combination of styles, rich and full yet retaining the malty drinkability of Oktoberfest marzens. Delicious!

Bottled just under a year ago. Smooth malty with slight barrel flavor. Easy drinking for 10% ABV.

Founders.tried to make a ball-breaking Marzen; theyly got it part way. A decent closer for the weekend.

Very nice. Definitely can taste the Marzen. Definitely can get the bourbon. Not limited to sipping.

Aged for 9mos, and 10+ months since bottling, perfect amount of time imo! Caramel colored, sweet bready and bourbon vanilla delight I could drink all day (and end up on the floor) Thanks Craig W.
