Barrel imparts sweetness and booziness. Like a cream sherry, malt beauty.

Bourbon, molasses, and caramel. A nice marzen backbone to a well-aged brew.

Perfect amount of bourbon. Depth and the touch of bourbon puts it into a great place.

Barrel adds to the depth and cuts a bit of the normal sweetness of an Oktoberfest. Tasty

Slightly Boozy, slightly Sweet…Totally Delicious!! Definitely recommend for October Fest celebrations!

Great barrel aged marzen! Very smooth and the bourbon flavor comes through but doesn't take over, also at 10% it's real strong for a fest brew haha

One of my favorite beers aged with one of my favorite liquors

Works surprisingly well. Sweet, malty, strong barrel presence, but not overwhelming. Boozy, but not overpowering.

Bourbon is obviously overpowering, but the Marzen goodness is there underneath. Thumbs up!

A very well done Oktoberfest beer. The bourbon highlights the malt rather than takes away from it.

Lovey caramelly note and a sticky sweetness from the barrel, which also appears on the nose - if I didn’t know any better, I’d have said this was #BIL (or at least life-adjacent!). Last beer of the Friday Oktoberfest tasting with Jonathan B.

Tastes pretty boozy. This Oktoberfest is more for sipping than quaffing. Actually, it doesn't taste like a marzen at all. It's really too boozy to taste malty.

Golden brown pour. 1/4” head. Light sweet aroma. Sweet, smooth, and bourbon.
