Cool concept and get some interesting tropical notes but the burnt malt flavor overpowers it

So, a contrast in styles… a dark stout that tastes super hoppy. There are black IPAs, and this is similar, lots of citrus notes. Not my cup of tea.

Roasty nose. Orange zest, roasted malt forward. Nice body. Roasty chocolate malt, orange, slight sweet finish. Kinda hits the orange chocolate candy, but less sweet, more true orange. Good stout

Had to try it based on the description. A semi-sweet summertime stout with a sultry tropical side: citrus, orange peel, pineapple, and milk chocolate.

Curiosity made me try it. Gotta coffee bitterness at the end. Awesome addition to breakfast.
