Advent calendar #24 is one of my favorite TIPA's. Happy New Tear to all my fellow enthusiasts.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022)
Advent calendar #20. Sorry, I was out of town so I'm behind.

Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout 2023 (Mothership Series)
Advent calendar #16. Dark and chewy with great mouth feel. The chocolate is like a good fudge brownie.

Advent calendar #9. Hazelnut is still prominent, but I think it's mellowing.

Advent calendar #8. It's actually 2023, but this is the closest year.

Advent calendar #6. Is it my imagination, or is 2023 KBS and the variants more coffee forward this year? It's still great.

Advent calendar Day #5. Cherry and chocolate. Yes, please.

Advent calendar #4. As pumpkin beers, it's one of my favorites.

Advent calendar Day #3 brings heavy blueberry with a chocolate finish. Celebrating the Lions being 9-3 for the first time since 1962.

Barrel Aged Peanut Butter Stout (Mothership Series)
Beer #1 of the advent calendar. Nice BA start to the month. The peanut butter is up front with a nice chewy chocolate finish.

I'm surprised by the low ratings. Maybe the expectation was a sweetness upfront from the blueberries, but I like it's more bitterness.

Nice variant. Has the bitterness but still plenty of flavor. Nice summer beer.

Sometimes, you just need a good BA stout without a lot of adjuncts.

Happy birthday to me. Tall beer requires a tall glass. A classic choice.

3rd from the left. Heavy cocoa on the nose. I'm surprised I haven't had this variant before but maybe I just forgot to check it in.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022)
After quarter life it's a bit underwhelming but still tasty.

QUARTER LIFE CRISIS - FOUNDERS 25TH ANNIVERSARY BEER
Maple, chocolate, vanilla and whiskey. What a great combo.

It's 7% according to the tap room. It's a bit less flavorful than the Hazacca.

Had to try it based on the description. A semi-sweet summertime stout with a sultry tropical side: citrus, orange peel, pineapple, and milk chocolate.

A cold version of All Day. Adds a bit of crispness to the flavor.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021)
One of the few beers I've had in awhile that exceeds it's price point. So good on so many levels and the ABV takes a backseat to the flavor which changes each sip.

You can't go wrong with KBS as a base beer but I think the cinnamon could be toned down a bit. It seems to overwhelm the flavor but I'm nitpicking.

Brick N’ Mortar Smoked Porter
Definitely worth a $3 pint. Nice and smokey. My son tasted bacon but he just had CBS so there's that.

Más Agave Premium Hard Seltzer Strawberry
Actually one of the better seltzers to me from Founders.

I thought it was a bit too tart at first but sweeter the more I drank. The wife tried it and thought it was too sweet.

I'm a sucker for $3 pints. Not sure of the hops but it tastes a bit like Centennial.

Maple Barrel Aged Frangelic Mountain Brown
A winner with me and the wife. Bourbon and maple in a brown ale.
I liked it more than the wife. Probably because she saw that it was a mash of Here and IPA.

Nitro U.N.I.T.Y. Mint Mocha Stout
Surprised by the low ratings. It's a bit thin but I get the Andes mint in the flavor.

The wife enjoyed this one. Prominent apricot aroma and flavor. Her rating.

Más Agave Premium Hard Seltzer Lime
The wife's flight. I think you can figure out which is the seltzer. Definitely not my thing, or the wife's. I'll withhold a rating.

Prefer a more traditional English style but getting some toffee with some hoppiness on the finish. Boozy and warm.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018)
Definitely enjoying the aged versions of the beers more than current ones. Bourbon fades and all flavors start to shine.

Peanut butter is there but would have preferred a creamier mouth feel. Heavy roast coming through.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019)
This is turning into one of my favorite Founders beers.

From 12/2. Don't know how I missed this one. Bottle share with my son.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019)
Bottled 02/15/19. The almost two years has mellowed the bourbon and really accentuates the cocoa. This beer definitely ages well.

I still prefer the original but I'm not a big grapefruit lover.

This tastes a bit different then previous versions. I get more melon and it tastes almost like a milkshake IPA.🤔

Sorry too lazy to take another pic. Must say that the second time around I appreciate the fudge over bourbon. Another amazing variant with some serious fudge.

From Saturday evening. A bit sweeter than be I like but it is a fruit beer. Strong raspberry flavor and alcohol well hidden.

Bought this for the wife but had to try it. An enjoyable summer beer with beautiful cherry flavor and just a slight tart finish.
