Vanilla, chocolate, sweetness, roasted malt, subtle hops bitter finish. Incredibly light for barreled brew. Goes down way too easy. Great porter. Another barrel series winner.

Tonight movie is ‘The Longest Yard’. Not as good as the original and this beer is not as good as CBS. I hope they bring it back.

Malty, mildly Roasty, subtle sweetness and booziness on the nose. Thinner than a stout but has a smooth mouthfeel. Bittersweet chocolate on the tail end.

Bourbon/coffee nose. This. Is. Smooth! Vanilla comes in right away. Let it warm and the Malle syrup blends in nicely and a nice barrel finish but not over whelming. Nice job founders! A bit light in body but a solid brew. Tad boozy but not bad for 9.2

Smells great, bourbon and vanilla; similar taste w/ a light note of maple; body is surprisingly thin and the overall flavor doesn't have the heft you'd expect for its ABV. Due to that, I'd knock this a bit given the price is 50% more than Underground Mtn.

Really delicious stuff! It reminds me of CBS, but a bit less boozy. The dark maple flavor is delightful!

Not bad. Uber smooth. Kinda light on the flavors. Get a decent amount of buttery bourbon. Nice tannin mouthfeel. Wish there was more vanilla. Bourbon barrel beer first. Some brown sugar. Pleasant

Full bodied porter.. Barrell aged. Packs a punch. This kitty does have claws. Slight vanilla is there.. Recommended just slightly chilled. Try it!!

Dark, sweet, rich. Maple and vanilla come through and blend really well with the barrel flavor. Great brew.

Sweet vanilla nose. Mashmellowy and tasty. Good vanilla and mild maple flavor on a roasty porter. Tasty! Brain drained with “Phantasm Ravager (2016)”. “My name is Reggie...”

The slightly lighter body than you’d get in a stout really lets the barrel shine

The vanilla is balanced nicely with the beer and the barrel aging. An smooth drinking porter.
