Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2023) Tschumper
Roasty coffee, chocolate, sweetness with barrel aged flavor all present. Interesting to read that it's aged in bourbon barrels WITH maple syrup, and not in maple syrup barrels. Still delicious. Thicker mouthfeel.

Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (Mothership Series) Tschumper
Smooth, bittersweet chocolate, coffee, boozy, very well rounded brew with a thicker mouthfeel
over 1 year ago
Roasty, bittersweet chocolate. Coffee on the nose. Not getting the graham cracker sweetness that the description offered. In fact, no noticeable sweetness. Overall, a nice toasty lighter bodied porter

Mothership Series Barrel-aged Marvelroast Tschumper
Vanilla, caramel, subtle coffee with a lighter body. Not overtly boozy, but the oak profile is present and blends well with the coffee and caramels

Chocolate Cherry KBS Tschumper
Roasty, sweet, thicker bodied. A brightness is present too, likely from the tartness of the cherries, but no cherry flavor is present.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Tschumper
Cellar throwback. Thanks, Adam! Coffee shines through at this age. Coffee bitterness is present, but not overwhelming. Chocolate is subtle and the oak barrel provides the last layer of flavor.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Tschumper
Still holds on to the barrel aged flavor. The chocolate is faint and the coffee is mild. Overall, I think it's less bold than when it is fresh. Definitely drinkable though for going on 5 years. Thanks Adam!

Thanks Adam! Though a few years old, it remains fudgy and coffee forward with a well blended barrel booziness. Still one of my favorites

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Tschumper
Boozy and bittersweet with the orange peel present. Reminds me of the bitters you'd have in an old fashioned.

Tropical 4 Giants Hazy Tschumper
Easy drinking IPA-grapefruit is just right; a small amount of pithy bitterness, but not overbearing at all.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Tschumper
Cellar throwback. Prominent bittersweet chocolate and black coffee with a mellowed bourbon barrel presence. It does not get raisin-like, stone fruit, flavors similar to an aged darkness. Thanks Adam!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Tschumper
This one remains my favorite KBS. Last one in the cellar, sadly. Roasty, sweet, chocolate coffee goodness. Not thin, not thick, just right.
Sweet, thinner bodied, creamy. coffee is minor in flavor as well as the booziness. Thanks, Adam!
