Nice unique malty beer, spicy and roasty. Great brown ale with a twist

Pretty good beer. The pumpernickel gives a biscuity/malty flavor. Really liked this.

Luckily, rye is faint. The Killers show starts soon.

Strong coffee aroma with dark roasted flavor. Slow to diminish finish. Nice for a brown.

Super unique. Smooth but dready flavor is the inky way I can describe. Does have a bitter finish.

A combination of British malts gives a smooth and rich malt sweetness with hints of roast and chocolate, with spicy rye - 10.1.2022 - dziewa family - founders - grand rapids

Burnt grains and a nice roasty flavor. Tastes a little like pretzels without the salt...or pumpernickel, per the description. Nice flavor.

Nice brown. The pumpernickel isn’t overpowering but creates a great flavor profile.

Very tasty for a 5.8abv beer. Tasty roast, mildly bitter, rye bite. Enjoyable, full flavored, clean. Very good.

It too bad, I think the flavor may come through more as it warms up.
