I normally leave high marks for most of my beer but admittedly, I don’t dispense the full five stars often. This one is straight pancakes on the nose but drinks a lot smoother and you get all the great French toast flavor. Outstanding stuff from Founders

Warm maple sugar cookies, fresh brewed roasty coffee, oatmeal and raisins. Nice caramel boozy bourbon and scotch ale noted in the finish. 4.4

Has a nice maple syrup and cinnamon sugar aroma. Taste is smooth and sweet with a nice maple and cinnamon sugar taste. Finish is sweet but becomes a bit bitter at the end.

I haven’t tasted it yet, but it smells like a sugary piece of French toast. Light on the tongue but full of flavor, maple notes followed by cool sensations of pancakes and breakfast. Scotch Ales for the win!

Nice smooth cinnamon flavor on front with some underlying bourbon notes. The maple slowly blends in. Some light vanilla n’breadiness follows. 11.1% is only moderately noticeable. Slightly sweet without being overly so.
