Definitely can't avoid the cinnamon and vanilla. Curious if this will mellow a bit with more aging.

Tasty, but clearly extremely artificial. It lists both the maple and vanilla as extracts which is evident Even before knowing. Thanks Edwin G.

It was good, but I drank it thinking it was a different beer. Oops.

This one was too sweet initially, but after the first two sips, it was solid.

My first time watching the original "A Christmas Carol". Bah Humbug. This bastard is too sweet, more dessert than breakfast

Tastes like straight butterscotch. It smells better than it tastes IMOA. It's not bad but just tastes too fake to me, sorry.

Definitely got better as it warmed up. Little heavy on the cinnamon for my personal preference. Not bad by any stretch tho.

Too much French… or too much Toast… Either way- too much of something. Still good, but just a bit too much.

Less balance than I was looking for: a little too sweet, barrel only presents as a dry finish

Caramel liquide, objectivement très bien fait mais écoeurant au possible

Heavy vanilla & syrupy without as much sweetness or thickness.

Goodbut the maple and cinnamon overwhelm the Backwoods Bastard flavor. I prefer the original.

Sweet, vanilla, cinnamon bourbon all mesh together overall to sweet for me. Def mellowed out since last bottle 5 months ago 9/20/2022 bottle

Lots of maple from the first sniff. My teeth feel as if I just ate a doughnut.
