Had to log back in to review this one. This is easily my favorite beer of all time. It’s sweet but balanced, not boozy, easy to drink (even at 11%), and delicious in every way.

French toast in a glass! The nose and flavor are spot on. That does mean, sadly, that the base Bastard gets lost.

This lives up to its name but I’m not sure *I* enjoy it. Lots of maple syrupy sweetness, that hint of butter, just over the top and exactly as described. Props, but for me, it’s a no, just too sweet.

Really delicious, but so sweet. Exactly as expected. Maple, vanilla, dough, egg, it’s French toast in liquid form.

Maple-forward but not cloying. The maple is thin followed by sweet pecan, creamy vanilla, rich caramel, medium/light roast coffee notes and toffee. Had to adjust the rating down because the sweetness becomes a bit too much after half. I miss BA Backwoods.
