Cloudy dark-brown with mahogany core; frothy tan head & lacing. Vanilla nose & taste; roast-coffee flavor. The finish is pleasantly bitter.

Dark malt and sweet vanilla nose. Flavors of well roasted dark malts, bitter cocoa, brown sugar, and sweet vanilla. Dark, smooth, and delicious.

90% vanilla extract, 10% roast. I expected better. Luckily, only a taste of Mel's.

Almost a perfect Porter. Absolutely delicious. The vanilla doesn’t taste artificial at all

Roasty and smooth. A little more bite than other vanilla porters, like a strong cup of coffee. But still pretty drinkable.

Vanilla, coffee, and then a mouthful of dust. Like actual dust. Bleh smells great though. Like that old rectangle candy that’s striped?

A pretty tasty porter. The vanilla seems to come to a screeching halt on the finish with a robust combination of coffee and Atkinsons peanut butter bars. Kinda harsh finish.
