It's a pretty good vanilla porter, but I have to compare it against their standard Porter, which I adore. This has a nice vanilla sweetness, but doesn't compare to the brick solid, roasty original.

Harry has learned to draw the life-energy out of Christmas tree ornaments, using the powers of his paw and his mind. He is doing it right now. Go Harry! Never been a fan of vanilla porters because they taste like candles. This is one.

(9/28/23) 6.5%. Vanilla Porter. Munich,chocolate malts,vanilla extract. Toasty,roasty,malty,chocolate. Caramelly&vanilla sweetness. Coffee-like&cocoa bitterness in the finish.

As advertised. Coffee takes a while to make itself known. Vanilla aromas abound early, but don't dominate. Very soft mouthfeel.
