Much more vanilla sweetness in aroma than flavor. A bit overly bitter. I love Founders porter, but this misses, for me.

Honestly I would have preferred more vanilla. The coffee overpowers it, and is a stronger influence than I prefer.

Robust Porter w/ vanilla extract. Malt beverage w/ natural flavor. Subtle coffee notes & sweet vanilla aromas. Bitter, sweet & roasty. 6.5% ABV, 45 IBU

It's a pretty good vanilla porter, but I have to compare it against their standard Porter, which I adore. This has a nice vanilla sweetness, but doesn't compare to the brick solid, roasty original.
