7 years later and it's still good, but I'm not nearly as enamored with it. Nose is coffee, flavor is coffee with a little chocolate with a drier finish. Was probably complex back then, but 7 years is eons for craft beer...

Koffie en chocolade is heel duidelijk herkenbaar, maar niet zo raar als het ook is toegevoegd. De havermout maakt het heerlijk zacht. Lekker bier!

Pikzwart, mooi stevig bruin schuim. Neus verraad niet veel. Aandronk wat romig, daarna is ie wat uit balans. Iets metaligs wat van de pure chocolade af kan komen. Daardoor afdronk beetje wrang.

Dit is zoals een stout hoort te zijn. Lekker vol biertje met zware, donkere smaken. Niet te veel poespas, gewoon solide smaken van koffie, chocola en oatmeal. Tot nu toe een van de betere stouts die ik heb gehad.
