It's a little tame. Slightly winey. Oatmeal mouthfeel is lacking but there's a good oat taste. Really is only the texture that lets it down.

Geurt gebrande mout, koffie, iets chocolade. Smaakt zoet, koffie, cacao, tabak, havermout, soja, roasty. Nasmaak bitter, zoet, wat droppig, roasty, iets assig.

Not sure why it's considered better than most oatmeal stouts. It's very close to the others. This has a touch more coffee to it.

Laatste van een ontspannen week op Texel. Voor mijn gevoel was het bier de eerste keer dat ik hem dronk,jaren geleden echt voller qua smaak.

Strong aroma of dark roasted coffee. First sip opens up with a intense fresh brewed dark roasted coffee cup character. It is immediately followed by and complimented by a dark cacao note rounding off the velvety smooth mouthfeel. Ends with nice bitternes
