Roodbruin van kleur. Crème kleurige schuimkraag. In de geur caramel en mout. Smaak is interessant mix van zoet en bitter. Aan de ene kant caramel, aan de andere kant rokerige bitters. Lekker, alsof ik in een donker Schots café zit naast de open haard

Nothing extraordinary. A very good beer of that heavy scotch style ales. Malty aromas and booziness. Dark red aomost brown color. Medium body. Malty, sweet , boozy, somehow oxdized.

More intense in nose than in taste with it's smoky and peaty notes givin through the various malt combination. Less strong in taste than I expected. Makes it easier to sip it.

I could have swore I had this before, but I guess it was before I got a smart phone. Sweet smooth malty caramel & a hint of smokiness and piney hops at the end.
