Deze smaakt heel goed bij de overwinning van NAC, weer een eredivisionist eruit gewipt, stelletje Dirty Bastards. Next stop; kwartfinale.

I've had so many of these that I assumed that I'd already checked it in. Apparently not. It's a really nice, caramelly Scotch ale. It, along with Three Floyd's Robert The Bruce, are my standard for Scotch ales.

First one of these in 10 or 11 years. Holds up amazingly well.

Very enjoyable malty nose. I like the malty and bitterness in the taste but it’s a little too bitter for a Scotch Ale for me. Very good beer and drinkable. Same rating.

Fortunately for the Chiefs, the Steelers started the game playing even worse.

Balanced with malt and caramel. Sweet but not like a desert.

Enjoying this while watching Around the World in 80 Days on Masterpiece.

Great color and malty aroma. Taste starts off moderately malty, has some character, and a fair dose of bittering hops. Scotch ales are generally supposed to be malt forward but can be balanced out with some hops; however, the bitterness sort of took over.

Pretty good, little more of chocolate tone than I prefer
