Een zeer kruidige bierstijl die mij nog niet zo goed inpakt.

Een donkere rakker op de laatste avond in the States. Misschien iets te zoet naar mijn smaak in het begin maar de hele rijke stout smaak die daarop volgt maakt een hoop goed.

Чуть сладости, сдержанная лёгкая горчинка. Воск, соевый соус, карамель, лёгкий хмелек, перга. Очень сбалансировано, вкусно, круто.

Darkbrown colored ale with hints of chocolate, caramel, malts, nuts, butterscotch and raisins. Light sweet finish. NICE!

Very nice Scottish ale. Heavy at 8.5%. Strong, good flavor.

(retro rating from 2015) this is quite the scotch ale. So I good I've enjoyed it more than once.

Interesting mix of malts - some roasty, some sweet, some with a hint of smoke. Good amount of bitterness on the finish to keep it from being cloying. Surprisingly, I haven't checked this in before.

From lunch... Last bottle. Back to Railbender tomorrow. Dirty Bastard is tasty, but a tad high ABV for a lunch beer.

The stress of the last few weeks keeps building, and I'm not sure there's any relief in sight for the next month. Time for good beer and a good cigar.
