I always want to like this one a *little* more than I actually do. I think I imagine it barrel aged or something and then am disappointed when it is just a straightforward forward Scotch Ale. 📖 “Utopia Avenue” - David Mitchell

This was a wee bit heavy 😆 but it was great. Phenomenal flavor, warming in the chest, and left a beautiful lacing on the glass. A real nice ruby color and smells very malty

Very rich in flavor. A bit to sweet. It’s like a desert that tastes really good but you can only have a bite or two or you’ll be sick. Says there’s peat in there but I don’t taste that
