Last minute decision. Having Teriyaki Bowl with scallops and brown rice. Brown sugar & molasses aroma, semisweet & malty with a crisp mouthfeel and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Poah, top bier. Hint van caramel en een lekkere bitter. Moaie Amber kleur ook.

Beautiful color, and a heavy, malty nose. I do not get any of the peatiness or smokiness mentioned on the label at all, unfortunately, but what IS there is great. Chocolate, bitter orange peel, a little coffee, balanced by a malty sweetness. Good stuff.

Some beers are situational. They’re better when you need them to be. This is one of those beers. It hit the spot today! (Forgive the Guinness glass).

Brown malty goodness. This is a strong ale with some killer malt flavor. The mid I start to find the hopsand then the great maltyness is back. I really like this one.
