I was hoping for the advertised sweetness to be more forward, and I am seemingly often taken aback in these advertisements. Ultimately, it is a little thin, a little smokey, starts smooth but leaves an aftertaste that isn't pleasing to my palate.

Not as good as I was hoping. Yost Mountain will get to try this.

Cheryl’s Friday night review: “I’ve never had a beer that tastes that fruity. But not in a good way.”

Nydelig ale med rik maltsødme og smaker av tørket frukt. Anelse røykpreg

Not a fan of the new labels. Not sure if it’s a new recipe too or not, but it’s more bitter now, not even half the malt complexity as before. But still, $10 for a six pack of 8.5% beer? Great deal.

Very malty, and on the thick side. Has a bitter aftertaste that lingers longer than I believe it should. Still quite quaffable. Pretty good over all.

Not a normal pool day beer, but great nonetheless

Got a wee heavy Scotch ale here that's both dense and super smooth. Rich caramel notes is absolutely right with maybe a hint of chocolate malts to complement. Drinks easy for an 8.5% ABV. Not a style I seek out generally but I'm cool with this.

More intense than I'd have expected, it's as strong as somebody who doesn't like dark beer (not me) would go I imagine. I like it for the smoky and stronger qualities.
