Tons of (artificial) spruce, grapefruit rind, resin, subtle grassiness, earthy caramel malt, pretty abysmal head retention (must be all the spruce extract).

Thanks The Beer Captain. Fucking amazing. Peach fuzz, oak, perfect balance between acidity and malt sweetness, apricot/stone fruit is so subtle, lightly effervescent carbonation.

Ginger, Spice, Barreled And Nice Kiser
Not bad. Spicy, oak, dark fruit, malty, light notes of honey.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Kiser
Hooooooooboy. Haven’t had CBS in years. Liquid s’mores with maple syrup drizzled on top. Vanilla, oak, bourbon, toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate, subtle coffee roast, creamy mouthfeel, semi-sweet bitter chocolate finish. Amazing. Takes me back.

Not a fan of the new labels. Not sure if it’s a new recipe too or not, but it’s more bitter now, not even half the malt complexity as before. But still, $10 for a six pack of 8.5% beer? Great deal.

Lots of honey, maple, oak, vanilla, super earthy, and a sweet crystal and wheat malt character. Medium-full body. Pretty nice, very drinkable at 12.8%.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Kiser
Cellared for over a year. Lots of milk chocolate and dark fruit, smoked caramel, full-bodied, very clean, no booze at all.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Kiser
4 months in the cellar. Love the roasty and desert-y notes that have shown up. Like a snickerdoodle in coffee on top of that rich chocolate and vanilla base.

2022 variant. 18% should put me in a good mood for work, right? Amazing roasted barley notes in this. Smoky, milk chocolate, hints of coffee and caramel, really nice sweet and dry balance, and a bit of warmth at the end.

Bourbon aromas, very earthy malt profile, hint of vanilla, and a clean finish.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Kiser
Pretty solid coffee stout. Burnt toast aromas, super roasty coffee notes, subtle cinnamon, creamy body, and a dry finish. Description on the bottle includes maple syrup but I don’t get much of that. Maybe it’ll show up after some time in the cellar.

Too malty and sweet for a beer that shouts about how much it’s hopped. Not very balanced, but hints of pine resin are buried in there.
