For me KBS is THE most balanced Impy out there and this 2018 edition doesn't disappoint. Full of chocolate and coffee flavours and doesn't taste anyway near the strength that it is......just a sheer joy to drink

I’m not normally a stout guy but this is very smooth and the massive chalice is pretty awesome too.

Definitely no hiding the bourbon. Great beer and a well aged 2016 release. 😋

2021. crazy sale so had to try one. bit of metallic in the nose initially but fades. smooth, good coffee but restrained bourbon. 4.4

Still solid easy drinking coffee stout. Hint of whiskey barrel

LCI: Whisky notes have faded somewhat to leave it more roasty and less sweet, decently rich still though

2016 drinking fine! Deep coffee and chocolate flavors, slight barrel Sweetness.

BS затмил таки KBS. Аромат в KBS, канеш, пушка! Со здоровенным таким лепком чернозёма средней американской полосы. А вот послевкусие неожиданно короткое, обрывает на самом интересном, в воду и в алкаху. Почувствуй себя redneck'ом! 🍻

Wonderful complexity of flavors! Smooth, coffee, chocolate, French toast, and not too bitter. Very drinkable! Though go easy this is strong!
