2021 tonight to complete a lazy vertical. Lovely rich coffee and booze. The coffee is almost too much. Alas I don't have any 2020 which might be perfect...

Recent KBS is not the KBS. I hate recent KBS and miss old KBS. Many friends told me that fact and I fully understood it today. Can you agree with that KBS is boozy and carbonated imperial stout?

Yeah there is a reason this was so sought after. It’s an excellent beer. Still worth it, despite the fact that others make excellent brews.

A little disappointing. Roasty, coffee/espresso, light backbone, bitter chocolate. It’s fine, nothing wrong, just not on par with other big beers in the class 🤷♂️

Legendaarinen KBS löytyi vihdoin! Tämä on todella jykevää tekoa: kahvia, paahteista mallasta, bourbonmaista makeaa viinaisuutta ja mausteisuutta. Suklaata ei pahemmin löydy, paitsi tuoksusta. Hieman viinaisa ja snadisti pistävä.

Omasta lähikuppilasta löytyi hanasta tätä legendaa, niin oli tultava paikalle maistamaan. Kahvia, paahteisuutta ja hieman 'kuiva'. Erilainen kuin odotin, mutta kyllä tätä mielellään juo. Pidemmän maistelun jälkeen myös makeus ja suklaa tulee esiin

Least impressive batch I’ve ever had. And I hate the new label. Why change? Lighter almost like this beer was rushed. Very little barrel notes. Back to Barreled Souls.
