Rich sweet and malty with a barrel aged flavor but without that barrel aged moldy wood taste. Almost $20 a 4-banger but almost worth it

2020 version, very much coffee and barrel forward. I’ve had this many times but usually fresher. The 3+ years in the bottle seemed to have not done it many favors. I think I prefer one that’s a bit less aged

Настоящий завтрак прямиком из Иллинойса. Спустя время и море стаутов, он уже не кажется таким ошеломляющим и чем-то невероятным. Но это всё тот же старый добрый KBS с добротным кофе, деревом и ванилью. Абсолютно сухой и безупречно очаровательный 🌠☕

Nice full mouthfeel, pleasant chocolate taste (perhaps a bit of coffee in the aftertaste), not too boozy. Intriguing aroma, reminiscent of the wood of the barrel in which it was aged or of whisky.

Bottle is on the older side I think as all the flavors are pretty melded together. Was very drinkable but the coffee and chocolate didn't stand out to me this time

This one was from 2018 and still has a little boozy kick but so smooth with the coffee and chocolate notes. Amazing.
