Haven't had the pleasure of this beer in 5 years. I'm going for another revisit. Obviously, it's one of the world's best stouts.Just my opinion. Dark chocolate and coffee tones A cappuccino in the glass.Creamy and roast with that oak barrel character.

Pours jet black. Tan cap. Aroma bourbon, coffee, chocolate. Flavour big, and bold. But it's my first 5 of the year. Big roasty coffee, followed by warming barrel aged, bourbon, finishing with a lovely chocolate, cocoa and coffee. Great balance.

It’s the perfect stout…after a long winter day..it’s still the best I’ve ever had.

Nice full body pour with a full, short-lived head. Strong coffee overtones, but a pleasant finish.
