This particular bottle has been aged in my “cellar” for 3 years. Definitely overrated, then again I had Abraxas only a few days ago so I’m tainted with anchoring and recency bias

Deze keer bewust. Mooi biertje goed in balans, veel koffie en chocoladebitters en lichte tonen van de bourbon. Heel veel smaken, maar niets die er echt boven uit springt, mist een kleine punch naar mn mening

Smooth and Strong, a tad heavy with a nice finish. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee pair well with the slight bite from the bourbon barrel. Can't have more than one of these on an empty stomach

It was good! Smelled of roasted vanilla, tasted incredibly like espresso and was an easy sipper. The bourbon barrel taste wasn’t aggressive or overly heavy, it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. Good stuff

Booziness takes over the flavor of this beer. Coffee and chocolate are undertones to the booziness. Still good and warming. Drinking on the colder side..

Thick and chewy and syrupy and the coffee is perfectly strong. A little syrupy for a beer, feels almost barley-wine-y. The colder the better, like a cold brew.
