Big bourbon, vanilla and wood at first followed by rich cherry maltiness. Coffee emerges on finish with a cold brew flavor. Moderate CO2; Full body, luscious and smooth. That 12% abv is pretty intense but clean (and the only reason it’s not perfect).

When you return a car, go to the bathroom, check in for a flight, and make it through security in less than 15 minutes....why not have a KBS on draft??

Magically delicious! Coffee, cocoa, and vanilla blended with just the right amount of bourbon barrel aging. If only water was this good...

Really well balanced, don't get the overpowering alcohol taste that comes with some imperial stouts. The chocolate aroma is super forward and a really pleasant drink! Up there in my fav stouts 🍻

Somehow at 12%, it not very boozy although you can feel a warmth after it’s gone down - it’s got that bourbon smoke, mixed with luscious chocolate chips, and the faintest hint of a rye rusty sweetness. As a middling fan of imperial stouts, it’s great!

I did’t score this last time round due to jet lag. If they sold this in the UK I’d be drinking it on a regular basis. Coffee and sweet bourbon whisky. Brilliant beer.
