Good Porter - roasty, chocolate and coffee on the nose. Caramel malts at the back of the tongue. Medium body. Nice and dark with bitter hops. Aftertaste a bit dry for my taste and not particularly complex. Still a great contender

Remains consistent to its label. Smooth and coffee notes; slightly bitter on the end.

Backlog posting. Hadn't had this in ages. Sweet aroma, silky creamy mouthfeel, chocolatey malty goodness and just enough of a very mild, pleasant drying effect from the dark malt. A good old standby.

One of the better lower abv, readily available, economical US Porters TO ME at least. I love the embossed Founders bottles, 100 years from now when someone is digging in a dump, they will mistake it for a bottle from 1920 not 2020.

Roasty toasty. Tons of flavor at a lite 6.5%. Sexy indeed! Bakers chocolate, almost like a dusting of Swiss miss on the front. Drying on the finish.
