Roasty chocolate nose, chocolate and coffee mid with a slight caramel finish, light to medium body but it works with these flavours popping! Paired with pecorino romano, aged gouda, kielbasa, Belgian bread, homegrown pear and Blue Jays baseball!!

Dark chocolate and coffee with just a hint of caramel. Moderate carbonation. Strong bitterness that lingers. More like a stout than a porter though…very roasty. Lovely!

This really hit the spot. Cloudy, drizzly day spent indoors in early autumn watching some football and playing video games with the windows open. Had to run out and get a porter for tonight. Perfect example of the style. Nice and roasty.

Fantastic although I don’t sense much of coffee but that’s good as I don’t prefer coffee infused stouts that are trendy these days

Is there a better porter than Founders Porter? I don’t think there is. Roasty, great mouthfeel, and moderate ABV. Many “robust porters” these days aren’t robust at all, are too high ABV, and missing that key roasty flavor.
