Dag 15 van de Beerwulf Advent Calender!🍻 Een erg lekkere Porter! Niet al te hoog in percentage en goed van smaak. Een beetje koffie achtig. Aanradertje.

Dit kan ik zeer waarderen ! Een heerlijk donker bier met de juiste chocolade smaak. En een niet te hoog alcoholpercentage.

Wife opened it, decided she wanted another beer instead, so I'm forced to drink a very good robust porter. I was actually planning to have one with a smoked turkey sandwich this evening. I still will, too.

Had this lots of times, but apparently never checked in. A damn fine example of the style, always hits the Porter spot.

Smoove and bold, rich chocolates (dark and milky) and charred coffee. This is a beastly porter, almost stout, as some usd to say.

The dark chocolate and coffeeish notes erupt from the glass. Full mouth, creamy, coffee, chocolate but also bitter hops and grainy malts. This is a perfect Imperial Stout, but then a light version. Not strange, given only 6.5% ABV

Tastes exactly as advertised, has that nice roasted flavor with a touch of graham cracker flavored. Tastes stronger than a 6.5%. But a damn good Porter!
