Little treat out of the cellar tonight. After 8 years this has held on really really well. I wish I had a fresh bottle.

So this is the oldest beer I have in the cellar. Even though I’m not a big barleywine fan this isn’t bad. Dried fruit flavor sort of like figs and dates.

Finally found a suitable reason to open this. Opened it last night to celebrate 15yrs together with my wife. Thought it fitting since this beer was brewed in celebration of Founder’s 15yr anniversary. Cheers!

Haven’t had this one in 7 years. Caramel, raisin, grape, light musty oxidation, slightly dry finish.

Amazing nose on this. Hoppy English-style BW vibes. Still killer for not being barrel-aged. The palate opens with hop-laced bitter caramel sauce, floral honey, biscuity malt notes, caramel and wet leather. Love trying oldies like this that hold up to tine

Just open this 15th anniversary barley wine from 2012. It’s still really good!

Bitterness is almost nonexistent. You can tell it was hopped though with a grassy vegetal note.

Pulled the last bottle from my cellar for a tasting. It’s mellowed a lot. Still tasty though!
