This was aged about 9 months, and I think was an improvement over an already darn good beer. Malty, toasty, smokey, definitely get a single malt scotch vibe, but not overly boozy. I'll have to age them a bit from now on.

Best scotch I've ever had. Can't believe it's taken me this long to untapp it. Founders is one of my favorite stout/high gravity beers. Unfortunately already had the French toast bastard and this beer already accentuates those flavors. 👌

Ahh, I've missed this Bastard! Good beer after a day of raking leaves. Time to watch some (watchable) football with Tara. Still a Pats fan, but I'd bet on a high school team playing against them at this point.

Just opened this bottle of 2018. Super mellow, and the caramel scotch-i-ness really shines.

Smells like caramel, chocolate, almost Twix like but with some sort of fruit… anyways flavor is great, not overpowering, but very full. Definitely caramel, some spices, great bear. Not hoppy, not super thick. Almost dessert-like and silky. J ✅

Very subtle nose with notes of hazelnut and coffee. FLAVOR THOUGH!! Explosive. Vanilla chocolate little Smokey bourbon hint of maraschino cherries, finished silky with chocolate mascarpone chocolate frosting. Flavor. Little to no bitterness perfect.

Came across this little gem today. I still get a coconut taste in the end although there is no coconut in it. Fantastic.

One of these beers is my one of my favorite brews ever and the other is from Canada.
