This is okay but there are many other beers I like better for this style.

Smells like scotch. Tastes like it has bourbon in it. A little sweet but Tastes too boozy.

Whiskey en bier geeft mij denk ik niet zoveel plezier. Bier en whiskey, dan toch liever fristi. Toch gaat het wel met de smaak. Het is dat ik van koffie en zoetigheid houdt.

A lot of oak, a bit of bourbon. Smokey and a touch sweet. Doesn't drink like 11% at all. Dangerously good.

5 year old bottle, initially this was horrible but grew on me after every sip and as it warmed. Will say it ain't bad just not used to barrel aged beers tbh.

I’ve heard good things about this ale, but I don’t find this particularly interesting. I love many Scotch ales, but this has a raisins-in-paint-thinner approach and it does work sometimes. Not today. Now, where’s my Heineken?
