Luktar sött, fikon nästan. Smörkola, bourbon. Bra munkänsla, kanske något tunn/flyktig pga hög alkoholhalt. Men har en lustig bismak. Typ trä/tång/sjögräs. Hög beska i eftersmaken. Väl mycket whiskeysmak av faten. Har inte druckit många Wee Heavy.

Warm and roasty. Very smooth. Hides abv well. Strong bourbon up front, followed by chocolate and raisins on the back. We aged this a year.

Aged almost a year. Strong bite up front. Bourbon and chocolate taste. Not their best, but it works.

Round 5, #30. Picking up my final plate and the plates of some out of town friends. The drink is exactly what I expect from a Scotch Ale. Not quite my jam, but an excellent example of the style.

Zwaar, warm, kruidig en caramellig. Lekker biertje voor bijvororbeeld bij de openhaard. In de opwelling van een kerstspelletje misschien wat moeilijk weg te drinken. Maar wel heel lekker

Woody, bourbon, some dark fruit. Intense and boozy, even after two years aging. A sipper.

Abit disappointing. Has turned a little sour, which doesnt suit it.

Smooth, smoky and boozy the aging in bourbon barrels gives it a sweet finish
